Sometimes, when we cannot see the immediate results of our prayers and affirmations, we think that we have failed.we all collectively play a role in creating reality, that our brains are only able to see what we believe is possible or have experience of, and the idea that thoughts can have real effects on physical reality.
A popular example of the latter was an experiment conducted by Japanese scientist Dr Masaru Emoto who published his findings in a book called Messages from Water. Emoto was studying the effects of music on water molecules. He found that water molecules seemed to take on different shapes depending on the music they were exposed to. Love needs to be based in gratitude, and gratitude needs to be based in love. These two words together create the most important vibration. And it is even more important that we understand the value of these words. For example, we know that water is described as H2O. If we were to look at love and gratitude as a pair, gratitude is the H and love is the O. Water is the basis that not only supports but also allows the existence of life. In my understanding there is one O and two Hs, we also need one part love to two parts gratitude, in order to come to a place of balance in the equation.This is interesting when we consider the effect of music on plant growth and the effect of Mozart on milk production in cows.
Emoto then began experimenting with the effects that words, prayer, thoughts and blessings might have on water molecules. Again, he claimed that the molecules took on different shapes depending on their labels and affirmations offered (see images). Some of the labels consisted of simple words or statements such as “thank you” and “peace”. Emoto’s published results indicated that water crystal formation was sensitive to these things and concluded that molecules of water “are affected by our thoughts, words, and feelings”. The science that affects water molecules in this way is still unknown.
Emoto’s experiments still hold interest when we consider that the human body (as well as plants and other animals) are almost entirely made of water. I’m sure we all also know of someone who says they’ve experienced spiritual or alternative healing. We could also consider how we heal faster or get sick less frequently with a positive state of mind, or how subjective pain is. All these secrets may lie in the molecular make-up of water.
Case - 1
The photo on the left is of a frozen water sample from the lake at Fujiwara Dam, in Japan. As you can see, the water's structure is dark and amorphous, with no crystalline formations.Crystal of Prayer-treated Water After the above water sample had been taken, the Reverend Kato Hoki, chief priest of the Jyuhouin Temple, made a one-hour prayer practice beside the dam. After that, new water samples were taken, frozen and photographed. As you can see (at right), the change is stunning--the ugly blob of the former sample has become a clear, bright-white hexagonal crystal-within-a-crystal.
Case - 2
The water stamped with positive words is far more symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing than that stamped with dark, negative phrases.Reverend Kato explained that during his hour-long prayer vigil he was invoking the spirits of the Seven Benzaiten: the Goddesses of Fortune.
Case - 3
Of great interest for healing and just day-to-day well being is the extreme effect upon water crystals of negative words and ideas. When the words "Adolf Hitler" were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the results seen as below.Here, you can see the results of taping the words "You make me sick I will kill you" to a container of distilled water. Interestingly, the pattern made by ""You make me sick I will kill you" was almost identical to the pattern that emerged when heavy metal music was played.Another instructive set of pictures showed the amazing difference between the crystalline patterns evoked by the words "Let's do it" and the patterns produced by "Do it!" The "Let's do it" crystals were like beautiful snowflakes. The "Do it!" water did not crystallize at all.
Case - 4
When water samples are bombarded with heavy metal music or labeled with negative words, or when negative thoughts and emotions are focused intentionally upon them, the water does not form crystals at all and displays chaotic, fragmented structures.When water is treated with aromatic floral oils, the water crystals tend to mimic the shape of the original flower. At right, water crystals were exposed to aromatic essence of chamomile.
Case - 5
Different samples of distilled water showed different formations, but none were crystallized. Then this water was treated by taping words or people's names to the bottles, playing music to them, or exposing them to floral essences. One interesting result was that there was a language difference. When the words "thank you" were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the frozen crystals had a similar shape to the crystals formed by water that had been exposed to Bach's "Goldberg Variations" music composed out of gratitude to the man it was named for.When Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" was played to water, the resulting frozen crystals were split in to two.
For our own bodies at birth are 70 percent water, and the percentage of water in our bodies remains high throughout life (depending upon weight and body type). Also, the earth's surface is 70 percent water. And now we have seen before our eyes the proof that water is far from inanimate, but is actually alive and responsive to our every thought and emotion. Perhaps, having seen this, we can begin to really understand the awesome power that we possess, through choosing our thoughts and intentions, to heal ourselves and the earth. If only we believe.
We can take things a step further and consider how the human brain is mostly water and may then too be subjected to thoughts or emotional conditioning in profound ways. The brain is a vast system of neural networks which communicate with each other electrically and chemically. They respond to stimuli picked up from our environment by our sense organs and proceed to send chemicals from the brain throughout the body. Each cell is covered in receptors which absorb chemical combinations (called peptides) and respond accordingly. It can be said the behaviour of our watery cells change depending on the peptides they receive.
These neural networks are able to rearrange themselves according to the emotions we feel and experiences we have on a daily basis. If we experience anger and despair often, our neural networks will adapt to provide more of the chemicals that cause these emotions. Similarly, if we manage to control our thoughts and maintain more of a positive outlook on a daily basis, more favourable arrangements will be made. And that is something that science does agree with.
