The Power of Prayers!!

Life is a gift of God. When you think about it. You feel lost in this wild world, because there is nothing to do.But God has made nothing without any purpose. There are lots of interesting things out in the world and amazing phenomenons are going on. Today I was stumbling on web and got an idea of writing on interesting facts about the effect of Prayers/Positive thoughts in our daily life. While you explore there amazing facts you will find some facts are really mind blowing.

Sometimes, when we cannot see the immediate results of our prayers and affirmations, we think that we have failed.we all collectively play a role in creating reality, that our brains are only able to see what we believe is possible or have experience of, and the idea that thoughts can have real effects on physical reality.

A popular example of the latter was an experiment conducted by Japanese scientist Dr Masaru Emoto who published his findings in a book called Messages from Water. Emoto was studying the effects of music on water molecules. He found that water molecules seemed to take on different shapes depending on the music they were exposed to.  Love needs to be based in gratitude, and gratitude needs to be based in love. These two words together create the most important vibration. And it is even more important that we understand the value of these words. For example, we know that water is described as H2O. If we were to look at love and gratitude as a pair, gratitude is the H and love is the O. Water is the basis that not only supports but also allows the existence of life. In my understanding  there is one O and two Hs, we also need one part love to two parts gratitude, in order to come to a place of balance in the equation. This is interesting when we consider the effect of music on plant growth and the effect of Mozart on milk production in cows.

Emoto then began experimenting with the effects that words, prayer, thoughts and blessings might have on water molecules. Again, he claimed that the molecules took on different shapes depending on their labels and affirmations offered (see images). Some of the labels consisted of simple words or statements such as “thank you” and “peace”. Emoto’s published results indicated that water crystal formation was sensitive to these things and concluded that molecules of water “are affected by our thoughts, words, and feelings”. The science that affects water molecules in this way is still unknown.

Emoto’s experiments still hold interest when we consider that the human body (as well as plants and other animals) are almost entirely made of water. I’m sure we all also know of someone who says they’ve experienced spiritual or alternative healing. We could also consider how we heal faster or get sick less frequently with a positive state of mind, or how subjective pain is. All these secrets may lie in the molecular make-up of water.

Case - 1

The photo on the left is of a frozen water sample from the lake at Fujiwara Dam, in Japan. As you can see, the water's structure is dark and amorphous, with no crystalline formations.Crystal of Prayer-treated Water After the above water sample had been taken, the Reverend Kato Hoki, chief priest of the Jyuhouin Temple, made a one-hour prayer practice beside the dam. After that, new water samples were taken, frozen and photographed. As you can see (at right), the change is stunning--the ugly blob of the former sample has become a clear, bright-white hexagonal crystal-within-a-crystal.

Case - 2

The water stamped with positive words is far more symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing than that stamped with dark, negative phrases.Reverend Kato explained that during his hour-long prayer vigil he was invoking the spirits of the Seven Benzaiten: the Goddesses of Fortune.

Case - 3

Of great interest for healing and just day-to-day well being is the extreme effect upon water crystals of negative words and ideas. When the words "Adolf Hitler" were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the results seen as below. Here, you can see the results of taping the words "You make me sick I will kill you" to a container of distilled water. Interestingly, the pattern made by ""You make me sick I will kill you" was almost identical to the pattern that emerged when heavy metal music was played.Another instructive set of pictures showed the amazing difference between the crystalline patterns evoked by the words "Let's do it" and the patterns produced by "Do it!" The "Let's do it" crystals were like beautiful snowflakes. The "Do it!" water did not crystallize at all.

Case - 4

When water samples are bombarded with heavy metal music or labeled with negative words, or when negative thoughts and emotions are focused intentionally upon them, the water does not form crystals at all and displays chaotic, fragmented structures. When water is treated with aromatic floral oils, the water crystals tend to mimic the shape of the original flower. At right, water crystals were exposed to aromatic essence of chamomile.

Case - 5

Different samples of distilled water showed different formations, but none were crystallized. Then this water was treated by taping words or people's names to the bottles, playing music to them, or exposing them to floral essences. One interesting result was that there was a language difference. When the words "thank you" were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the frozen crystals had a similar shape to the crystals formed by water that had been exposed to Bach's "Goldberg Variations" music composed out of gratitude to the man it was named for. When Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" was played to water, the resulting frozen crystals were split in to two.

For our own bodies at birth are 70 percent water, and the percentage of water in our bodies remains high throughout life (depending upon weight and body type). Also, the earth's surface is 70 percent water. And now we have seen before our eyes the proof that water is far from inanimate, but is actually alive and responsive to our every thought and emotion. Perhaps, having seen this, we can begin to really understand the awesome power that we possess, through choosing our thoughts and intentions, to heal ourselves and the earth. If only we believe.

We can take things a step further and consider how the human brain is mostly water and may then too be subjected to thoughts or emotional conditioning in profound ways. The brain is a vast system of neural networks which communicate with each other electrically and chemically. They respond to stimuli picked up from our environment by our sense organs and proceed to send chemicals from the brain throughout the body. Each cell is covered in receptors which absorb chemical combinations (called peptides) and respond accordingly. It can be said the behaviour of our watery cells change depending on the peptides they receive.

These neural networks are able to rearrange themselves according to the emotions we feel and experiences we have on a daily basis. If we experience anger and despair often, our neural networks will adapt to provide more of the chemicals that cause these emotions. Similarly, if we manage to control our thoughts and maintain more of a positive outlook on a daily basis, more favourable arrangements will be made. And that is something that science does agree with.

The Power of Brain Waves!

It’s important to understand how your brain contributes to the state of your mind. While most of us focus on looking at our emotions in an attempt to become happier, more spiritual beings, our brains waves and our subconscious mind also play a key part in our quest for fulfillment.

Are We The Controllers Of Our Reality?

We easily forget that we are the controllers of our reality – and that “our reality” is not made up of outside influences, but that it actually consists of our thoughts, beliefs and mindset. Therefore, by learning about the deeper states of consciousness, you can open your subconscious mind and create your reality at will, and with precision.

To do that, the first step is understanding your different brain frequencies. Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta and each frequency is measured in cycles per second (Hz) and has its own set of characteristics representing a specific level of brain activity and a unique state of consciousness.

Power Of Alpha Waves

Have you ever wondered why some people can see things that others can’t, know what’s going to happen before it does, describe a remote place they have never seen before, read other people’s minds, heal themselves using only mental imagery or read a person like a book though he never met him before?
Most of the people who exhibited one or a combination of the above mental abilities were not psychics or clairvoyants, but ordinary individuals like office workers (e.g. housewives, accountants, clerks, computer analysts, salesmen),  professionals, (e.g. doctors, lawyers, engineers, nurses, businessmen) and even members of the clergy (e.g. Christian priests, nuns, lay ministers). What is common among all the above individuals? They are able to completely focus their minds on a single task at a time, completely relax their body and reduce their brain waves to at least the alpha rhythm (about seven to 14 cycles per second). Alpha appears to bridge the conscious to the subconscious. It is the major rhythm seen in normal relaxed adults - it is present during most of life especially beyond the thirteenth year when it dominates the resting tracing.

Alpha rhythms are reported to be derived from the white matter of the brain. The white matter can be considered the part of the brain that connects all parts with each other. Alpha is a common state for the brain and occurs whenever a person is alert (it is a marker for alertness and sleep), but not actively processing information. They are strongest over the occipital (back of the head) cortex and also over frontal cortex. Alpha has been linked to extroversion (introverts show less), creativity (creative subjects show alpha when listening and coming to a solution for creative problems), and mental work.

When your alpha is within normal ranges we tend to also experience good moods, see the world truthfully, and have a sense of calmness. Alpha is one of the brain's most important frequency to learn and use information taught in the classroom and on the job. You can increase alpha by closing your eyes or deep breathing or decrease alpha by thinking or calculating. Alpha-Theta training can create an increase in sensation, abstract thinking and self-control. In our car scenario, Alpha would represent neutral or idle. Alpha allows us to shift easily from one task to another.

Alpha brain wave - what makes it so powerful and special?

Let me explain it in as simple manner as I understand it from a layman’s point of view. Neuroscientists have long ago discovered that brain cells, called neurons, produced electricity. This electrical nature of the neuron enabled scientists to determine or measure their different electrical patterns or waves. A piece of medical equipment called an electroencephalograph (EEG), invented by Dr. Hans Berger, showed that these neurons have rhythms or cycles. Each of these brain waves has its own characteristics or properties. But for now, let us focus on the alpha brain wave, although in practice these brain waves may overlap.

Normally, when we slow down our brain waves by relaxation or meditation, they eventually settle down to delta, which is the unconscious or sleep state. However, if we can slow down or reduce the frequency of our brain waves without falling asleep (which is one of the keys to understanding its powers), then a person can perform certain mental tasks at one brain wave level which he cannot do at other brain wave levels. With Further practice he can change his Future.

Precognition

For example, at the alpha level, he or she can project his or her consciousness or awareness into the future and know what’s going to happen before it does (technically called precognition). He can project his consciousness into the past and know what happened without being there (called retrocognition). He can project his awareness to another person and know what he is thinking of (through telepathy). He can project his awareness to a distant place he has never been to before and describe it accurately (through remote viewing or traveling clairvoyance). He can also heal himself and others through mental imagery or visualization.

How is this possible?

Because it is believed that at the alpha level, the brain waves, the left brain hemisphere and those of the right, are synchronized. And when this happens, he is able to consciously tap the tremendous powers and knowledge hidden in the subconscious mind. Therefore, training ourselves to think at the alpha level without falling asleep offers tremendous benefits and powers for everyone. The alpha rhythm is important not only because it enables us to perform some incredible things with our brains, but also, being in that state can boost our immune system and thus keep us healthy. Going into alpha also removes stress and increases mental ability. But it needs to be practiced.

It is said that Aristotle used to lie in bed with a ball in his hand so that when he would fall asleep the ball would drop and bang a copper plate below. The noise would wake him up, keeping him in a quasi state of sleep and consciousness. This is perhaps the time when he generated his best ideas and insights.

We can naturally enter the alpha flow when we are slowly and naturally wakening up. As we awaken, and just lie in bed and consciously allow our thoughts to free associate on topics of interest. This is particularly easy when we have no pressure to get out of bed, such as a weekend…and when we do not use an alarm clock to wake us up.

Choose to Be Positive!!!!!

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” -Buddha

You experience and create all kinds of different energies that affect how you feel and what you accomplish throughout your day. Some energies are powerful and easily recognizable, while others are more subtle and often only intuitively felt. I believe it is fair to say that everything is, in a sense, energy.

The things you say, the things you think, the things you do—even the things you don’t do—all produce energy that impacts you and the people around you. If you work on creating more positive energy, you’ll see improvements in your life, and you’ll touch more lives than you thought possible.

So what do I mean by energy?

I like to think of energy as anything that invokes a reaction inside you. In other words, anything that makes you tick, ponder, feel or react. Energy comes to us in different forms. The chair you’re sitting on, the music you’re listening to, or the book you just finished reading, all provoke some sort of reaction within you.

Take music for example. How does your favorite song make you feel? What type of energy do you enjoy most from music?

Take a break from reading this, close your eyes for the entire music, and see what you feel. Music is one of the most powerful and recognizable forms of energy, which is perhaps why it is grounded in so many sacred traditions. A powerful musician can create the same sensations in many different people.

Becoming Energized!

Music is the easiest way to shift your energy quickly. Athletes often listen to certain songs before games to help channel adrenaline; artists listen to music to help get their creative juices flowing; and many writers write with the help from music. While music is the easiest way to understand this concept, it is definitely not the only way to become energized.

Often, when I wake up I fling the curtains open and let the sun flood into the room. This is a great way to become energized first thing in the morning. I don’t let rain sap my energy, though. If it’s raining, I try to be fully aware of the beauty before me so it becomes a positive influence, as well.

Maybe I’ll follow a few raindrops down the window, or watch the ripples form in a puddle below me; either way, I’m fully present. I find being present is the most important thing if you want to feel energy in a positive way. When you are here and now, everything is beautiful energy!

Why focus on positive energy?

Positive energy is contagious. When you constantly take in the positive energy from your surroundings, it will be visible in the outer world.Start Believing that you are making your Day and you radiate Positive energy. You can feel the difference in your day to day life.To make room for the positive energy available in this moment, you’ll need to release negative energy you’re holding onto from the past—be it distant or recent.

so the thought cultivation process is most important here.how we create our mind set..positive or negative attitude...this made me to think several times about the energy levels I have read in Myth-buster Database about a research they conducted  with three set of plants .one set of plants they watered it daily and then other set of plants along with water they  added positive prayers /music to it saying the growth of this plant will be tremendous..and other set of plants they watered it and added negative energy saying this will not grow properly..and then after couple of weeks..the positive energy plants has grown well..the natural watered plants growth was at  average level and the negative energy plants growth was Poor.If this is the scenario for plants then just think about human brain!!

so always there is some radiation of energy around us..and what kind of energy we shed out is more important..u think good about others and it gets reflected.you think bad about others that also gets reflected.I remember a tale which I read some time back..there was a old man who gave peanuts to birds daily..and all colorful birds came and took peanuts form his hands..one day...his grandson asked him to get a colorful bird to play..so the next day the old man awaited for the birds to come but none of the birds turned out.

Because till the day before he had only one thought ie., to feed the birds..but the next day..his mind was fully occupied with negative thoughts of catching a colorful bird..so this thought radiation has propagated and has reached the birds and none of the birds turned up....so..now don't u think..that it is not the world....creating obstacles in your path..it is you..so .whatever stone is thrown towards your path...make it a stepping stone.

How to Do this?
Simple always wear a Smile in your face.Do not try to recall any incident that makes you to lose your energy. We are watching t.v and some boring program is telecasted.we immediately change the channel and try to focus on some better good Program.Well Exactly the same fact you need to apply in your day to day life.the moment you feel something..someone..is making you to feel bad ,uncomfortable immediately tune your mind.Either start thinking about the Good things they have done to you..or try to recall some incident which will make you more energetic.

Think that your brain is the T.V and your thoughts are the channels..you need to tune your thoughts to make your brain energetic.More than anything first you should start believing that you are able to control your thought process and fine tune yourself towards the Positive Energetic Thinking!!!!!

CHOOSE TO BE POSITIVE!!!!!!

INTROVERTS Vs EXTROVERTS by Susan Cain - A GLIMPSE

The terms “introvert” and “extrovert” were first made popular by psychologist Carl Jung in the 1920s and then later by the Myers-Briggs personality test, used in major universities and corporations. By Cain’s definition, introverts prefer less stimulating environments and tend to enjoy quiet concentration, listen more than they talk and think before they speak. Conversely, extroverts are energized by social situations and tend to be assertive multi-taskers who think out loud and on their feet.

Introverts, in contrast, may have strong social skills and enjoy parties and business meetings, but after a while wish they were home in their pajamas. They prefer to devote their social energies to close friends, colleagues, and family. They listen more than they talk, think before they speak, and often feel as if they express themselves better in writing than in conversation. They tend to dislike conflict. Many have a horror of small talk, but enjoy deep discussions.

In this short animated excerpt from Susan Cain’s RSA talk, based on her fantastic book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking (public library) and illustrated by the darkly delightful Molly Crabapple, Cain explores how modern society evolved to glorify the qualities associated with extraversion. And yet, rather than being a social handicap, introversion isn’t just enormously widespread but also socially advantageous and necessary. She gives the example of Apple, which we’ve come to associate with the very vocal Steve Jobs — but Steve Wozniak, a sworn champion of the creative value of working alone, was just as indispensable in building the iconic company. The two complemented one another, just like extroverts and introverts would in an ideal world.

Introversion- along with its cousins sensitivity, seriousness, and shyness- is now a second-class personality trait, somewhere between a disappointment and a pathology. Introverts living in the Extrovert Ideal are like women in a man's world, discounted because of a trait that goes to the core of who they are. Extroversion is an enormously appealing personality style, but we've turned it into an oppressive standard to which most of us feel we must conform.

If you're an introvert, you also know that the bias against quiet can cause deep psychic pain. As a child you might have overheard your parents apologize for your shyness. Or at school you might have been prodded to come "out of your shell" -that noxious expression which fails to appreciate that some animals naturally carry shelter everywhere they go, and some humans are just the same.

Extroverted and introverted leaders excel in different areas and can learn from each other. Studies show that introverts are better at leading proactive employees because they listen to and let them run with their ideas. Meanwhile, extroverts are better at leading passive employees because they have a knack for motivation and inspiration.

While extroverted leaders could learn from their counterparts to take a more careful approach to risk and let others speak up, Cain says introverted leaders need to push themselves to be more social. She offers John Lilly, former CEO of Mozilla, as an example. He would force himself to walk the halls and make eye contact because he hadn’t realized how much it offended people when he didn’t greet them.

Introverts need to trust their gut and share their ideas as powerfully as they can. This does not mean aping extroverts; ideas can be shared quietly, they can be communicated in writing, they can be packaged into highly produced lectures, they can be advanced by allies. The trick for introverts is to honor their own styles instead of allowing themselves to be swept up by prevailing norms.

Are you Depressed Thinking about Failures???Read this!!!!!!

We Dream alot..We aspire alot...We try alot..but most of the times we do not Try it again and again. Some times we quit when we are just two steps beyond the steps of victory. And we convince our mind saying we do not Deserve this anymore. This not going to work out for me anymore.He/she is lucky enough than me.No Matter watever hurdles come in your way...keep going keep on going towards your Dream..towards your Goals.

Everyone has read the story of Robert I of Scotland "Robert the Bruce." Well if you are finding it difficult to recollect let me freshen up your memory. He was the king who after being defeated at a battle, escaped and found a hideout in a cave. Hiding  in a cave for three months, Bruce was at the lowest point of his life. He thought  about leaving the country and never coming back.

While waiting, he watched a spider building a web in the cave's entrance. The spider fell down time after time, but finally he succeeded with his web. Bruce was inspired by the spiders perseverance and decided  to retry his fight and told his men: "If at first you don't succeed, try try and  try again". He became one of Scotland's greatest kings, as well as one of the most famous warriors of his generation, eventually leading Scotland during the Wars of Scottish Independence against the Kingdom of England.

Waiter to IAS Officer!!!

Well the story of our hero K Jayaganesh is no different. He failed the civil service examination six times but never lost heart. The seventh time his last chance he passed with a rank of 156 and has been selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Jayaganesh's story is inspiring and motivational. This is due the the fact that in the face of advirsity he never gave up. His story is a true example of determination and perceiveriance. Most of us have read the story of Robert the  Bruce, but how many have fought the tough circumstance in life as he did. K Jayaganesh comes from a samll village in Tamil Nadu. As a child he has seen poverty. Against odds he studied studied to be an engineer. His dream was to become an IAS officer and to fulfill the dream he did take odd jobs, he even worked as a waiter for a short while. His story clearly shows that if you have the right vision and goals backed by determination and perseverance then no matter what you are at the moment you can scale great heights.

The story guides us to try and try again till the success is obtained. Born and brought up in a small village called Vinavamangalam in Vellore district, K Jayaganesh has a poor background financially. He studied to be an engineer but he did odd jobs, even as a waiter temporarily to cherish his bigger dream of becoming an IAS officer and finally he realized his dream. His father Krishnan, who had studied up to the tenth standard, worked as a supervisor in a leather factory getting Rs 4,500 as salary. His mother was a simple housewife. He is the eldest in the family and has two sisters and a brother. So his only aim is to get a good job as earliest as possible to help the father in running the family.

He studied up to the 8th standard in the village school and completed the remaining school classes in a nearby town. After 10th standard, he joined a polytechnic college as job prospects would be better there. Being good at studies, he got 91 per cent which were enough to get admission to a government engineering college on merit.Hence he joined the Thanthai Periyar Government Engineering College to study mechanical engineering. He was the only one in the batch who went to college. Other friends of him became auto drivers or coolies or masons only. His father is very supportive to him knowing the value of education. After completing engineering, getting job is the next effort. Soon he got a job with salary Rs 2,500 at a Bangalore company that reconditioned tools. But he always keep thinking about the youngsters of his village which have no one to guide the importance of education and they always remain poor ending with jobs in tannery or become auto drivers or coolies. Meanwhile he came to know that a collector in a small place could do a lot. This is the turning point now, when he resigned his job and decided to be an IAS officer.

Tough way starts now to become an IAS officer when he could not clear preliminary exams in first two attempts because he got no guidance about preparation. He had taken mechanical engineering as main subject. Later he met Uma Surya in Vellore who was also preparing for the examination. He guides him to take sociology as an option. But third attempt is again a failure.Later he passed fourth attempt after he joined the government coaching centre (external link) in Chennai. As Chennai was very expensive for him, he started a part time job of a billing clerk for computer billing in the canteen at Sathyam Cinemas to run his life and studies too. He worked as a waiter also during the interval. Here comes the interview cal now. Not very fluent in English but he conveyed whatever he wanted to. Perhaps he did not articulate well. He failed in the interview.Again he tried for fifth time afresh and alas! He failed. He later quit the job and joined a private firm to teach sociology to those preparing for the UPSC examinations. His friends in Chennai gave him a helping hand. And his hard work rewarded. Sixth time he cleared preliminary and main but bad luck continues as he failed interview. Meanwhile he had written an examination to be an officer with the Intelligence Bureau and was selected there.  Now he has two choices- join the job at IB or prepare again for IAS.

But he was ready for his last attempt. With a fear and confusions he gave his preliminary exam. He passed. He attempted his mains. He passed. Now the last stage- interview, April 2008, Delhi. He was scared. In interview, the one mistake he did was that he did not wish the interviewers at the start. And at last, when interviewers did not respond when he said thanks at the end, he got confused about his success. He just prayed to God to cherish his seven year long dream. Finally the day of result came and god listen his prayers. He got 156th rank out of more than 700 selected candidates. This was the happiest day of this hard worker, self determined person who encourages others to achieve their goals.

He got a warm welcome at his village and was extremely fascinated by the response of villagers who garlanded him, burst crackers and played music on his arrival. Everyone wished him.He said,My real work starts now. I want to try hard to eradicate poverty and spread the message of education to all people. Education is the best tool to eradicate poverty. The story is really encouraging and shows an ideal way for the Indian youth to achieve the targets of their life without getting depressed by failures.

Do not count the failures.Try to account yourself towards success!!!!!!
